Approaching 6 months!!!

It's been a little while since we posted anything on the blog... This doesn't mean that nothing's been going on however.  Landon has been growing by leaps an bounds over the past 2 months and is now able to go swimming with us and has been eating rice cereal once in the morning since the beginning of June and one week ago (the third week of June) we introduced oat cereal and increased his dinner times to morning and supper time.  This morning was the first time that he gobbled down the entire bowel and was looking for more! We are planning on beginning other solid (pureed) vegetables next week.  Landon is bringing such joy and love into our growing family.  After nursing school for me(Scott) ended, we took a series of trips to visit family and friends. Now our long vacation is done :-( and I have started back to work as an RN at Newark hospital (love it!). We will continue to live life to the fullest, though, because I only am at work 3 days a week. Roseland waterpark opens this weekend and we are planing on getting season passes to beat the summer heat and enjoy our time off together.

Easter Festivities

We had such a great Easter with Trish's Mom and Dad and her Aunt and Uncle Deb and John coming up to visit us and Landon for a long weekend.  Trish made Easter Brunch on Saturday morning and that afternoon we all went for a hike up to Powder Mills Park in Victor.  Trish's Mom stayed over till Easter (we missed church :-(  but we did go out and enjoy the beautiful day at the lake.  We wrapped up the weekend with dying Easter Eggs.  Landon slept through the majority of all of these activities but we did manage to get some pictures of him awake.
